Defense tells witness he will be asking about previous statements to the OTP.

Defense: You say you’re a pastor.  Do you have a church in Sierra Leone?

Wit: Yes, I have a church in Kono, with a congregation that fluctuates between 60-120.

Def: Who pays you?

Wit: From the congregation I get a stipend.  The church executives determine how much I can get. 

I’ve been a pastor for over 15 years.  I’m a pastor and at the same time I’m teaching.

Def: How many statements have you made to the Office of the Prosecutor of the Special Court?

Wit: I don’t know.  (He agrees more than one.)

Defense is asking the witness to confirm his signature on previous statements.
