After it again went into closed session this afternoon, court remained in closed session until adjournment at the end of the day. There was no explanation available as to what happened, or whether there will be a closed or open session when court reconvenes tomorrow morning. Staff from the Special Court’s public affairs office left the building when court first went into closed session today, telling journalists and monitors here at the facilities of the International Criminal Court (ICC) that there was no way court would resume in open session today. When it did just that (briefly), journalists from Sierra Leone and Liberia who are here to cover the trial had already left for the day.
