Welcome to the live-blog of the Charles Taylor trial, which is resuming in The Hague this morning with the first witness for the prosecution. Throughout the proceedings, we will be posting a running summary of what is happening in the courtroom here at the facilities of the International Criminal Court.  In addition to this account of who said what in the trial, at the end of the day we will be offering an analysis of the day’s events.   It is important to note that the summaries that will appear on this website should not be mistaken for transcripts, official or otherwise.   Of course we will try to be as accurate as possible.
