Defense Counsel Munyard continues his cross-examination of Witness Camara and suggests:
– that, because Camara spent 4-5 years in prison from mid-1992 until end of 1996 and Dr. Manneh did not press Charles Taylor to let him out of prison, Camara is vindictive towards Taylor and therefore is giving this evidence;
– that last Monday afternoon Camara lied when saying he has not received any benefits from the investigators for giving information, even though Camara refers to this as “voluntary assistance” and does not consider these to be “benefits”.
