On Thursday December 11, 2008, the trial of Charles Taylor adjourned for the Christmas recess and will re-convene on January 12, 2009. The court has heard 84 witnesses so far and prosecution has indicated that there are fewer than 10 witnesses left to testify against Mr. Taylor. The remaining witnesses will testify when the court resumes hearings in January 2009.
