Bemba’s 33rd Witness Continues His Testimony in Closed Session

The 33rd witness testifying for Jean-Pierre Bemba at the International Criminal Court (ICC) has for the third day given all his testimony in closed session. Testifying through the means of a video link and under the pseudonym ‘Witness D04-54,’ the witness was scheduled to complete his testimony today.

It is not clear when the three outstanding defense witnesses will be available to testify. Mr. Bemba, a opposition leader in the Democratic republic of Congo, has been on trial since November 2010 over crimes allegedly committed by his Movement for the Liberation of Congo (MLC) soldiers during 2002 and 2003.

  1. I am still asking myself why this world is full of hypocrits and idiots whom think to be judges and punishers while they are themselves killers and terrorists, you arresting innocent people and destroying african vison of peace, you guys must release Jean pierre Bemba and leave him alone ,he is not a criminal ,criminals are still running free in washington ,paris and london. Why cant u also arrest those one who killed in Irack ,afghanistan and Libya? Release Bemba and look for other job to do ,your justice and court cant just be against small african leaders!

    1. Diestro is totally right, ICC is just simply a political court who is masterminded by America and west to control Africa . release an innocent man . the ones who should be there are Bozize and the late Patasse.
