Presiding judge Julia Sebutinde of the Special Court’s Trial Chamber II has called the court to order.   She has apologized for the court’s ten minute delay in starting this morning. 

She has ruled in favor of a request to allow a photographer from Reuters News Agency to take photos inside the courtroom before the trial commences. 

Brenda Hollis has just introduced the prosecution team, and Courtney Griffiths the defense team. The interpreters are being sworn in—swearing to interpret faithfully, impartially, independently and with full respect for confidentiality.
